New traders copy calls without understanding the reasoning, which means they can't tell a good setup from a lucky one, and they definitely can't manage risk on a trade they didn't actually analyze themselves. Generic trading education makes this worse by focusing almost entirely on entries and indicators, as if finding the right setup is the hard part. It isn't. The hard part is sizing a position so a loss doesn't wipe out weeks of gains, setting a stop loss and actually respecting it when the market moves against you, and having the discipline to sit out a session when there's no real setup instead of forcing a trade out of boredom. Add naira volatility and crypto's swings on top of that, and a trader with no risk framework is one bad week away from a blown account, no matter how good their chart-reading looks on a good day. Almost nobody selling trading content in Nigeria leads with risk management, because "manage your risk carefully" doesn't sell a course the way "here's my winning signal" does.
